1. What is the Redanyway Dashboard?
Redanyway Dashboard is your home on Redanyway. It's the place where you can change your personal info, profile info, explore new profiles on Redanyway and catch up on the updates of the profiles you are following.
2. So, the Dashboard is my profile?
No. Your blog or personal website that has been registered on Redanyway is your profile. Other users will NOT be directed to your dashboard on Redanyway, but will be directed to your profile. This is how you drive more traffic to your website.
3. Ok... So how do I add friends or follow someone if I cannot see them on Redanyway?
It's not that you cannot meet new people or find interesting profiles on Redanyway. You can use 'Explore' for that. You would be directed to the profile (personal website) of that person, where you can follow the blog or add the person as a friend through the Redanyway Widget.
4. What is the difference between a Friend and a Follower?
A 'Friend' relationship exists between two persons. A 'Follow' relation exists between a person and content/blog/profile.
Confused? Dont worry! In future, beside other features, users will be able to have multiple profiles (a blog, a company website, professional info page etc), so if you are friends with a person, you create a relationship with that person and all the profiles the person owns. But, as a follower you can choose to follow only a selected profiles and create a relationship only with those profiles. In either case you get updates from the profiles you have relationships with.
5. Do I need to request to follow or add someone as a friend?
A 'Friend' relationship is mutual, hence you need approval of the person you want to befriend. A 'Follow' relationship is unidirectional, no approval is required to follow a profile.
6. Where do I get updates of a blog I follow?
The following Section of the Dashboard lists the profiles you follow and has the updates of those profiles.
7. What do I have to do to get updates?
Nothing. It has already been taken care of by the profile owner. So no RSS, no XML, no feed readers... Just follow a profile or be friends with the profile owner and get the updates from that blog on your dashboard.
8. What is Activity and My Updates.
Activity is the activity stream that shows what's happening around you on Redanyway.

6. I am getting these errors during installation.
- [Error: This Redanyway Widget is not
configured for this Website! Please, go
to your "Redanyway - Dashboard" to
check your configurations.]
- [ Not able to view anything on my website ]
Don't worry. You have done almost everything right. Just check a few things:
1. Check if the URL on the Profile info you have provided matches the URL of the page you wish to install the widget on.
2. Make sure the code from the Widgets section is exactly the same as you have pasted on your website and you are able to preview your widget in the preview section.
3. If everything seems fine, but you are still getting errors, drop us a line here.
7. What do I do with the 'widget code'?
When you are done customizing the widget, and are ready with the code, copy the piece of code from the 'Source' section and paste it on your website where you want to flaunt the cool widget.
8. I have a blog, but I dont know where to put that code; is there a simpler way to do that?
9. I have installed the widget. What next?
Great! Now you can invite your friends to join you on your website, and they can do so directly from your website. They dont have to come to Redanyway for that. Once logged on, you can browse through your friends' and followers' profiles and follow or add someone as a friend from their website directly.
10. What is a plugin? How is it different from the widgets?
If you have a blog with wordpress installation, you can use the Redanyway plugin. Download the Wordpress plugin and paste it in your wp-content/plugins directory. Once a plugin is uploaded, you may activate it from the Wordpress Dashboard. The Plugin will enable you to control all widget options from your Wordpress Dashboard and you dont have to copy-paste the widget code.
